Children of God are we loving in word but not in deed?

In 1 John 3:18 God talks about us loving our brothers and sisters not only in word but in deed. If we say we love then we will not only say it but our actions will show it. If there's someone in need and we know this and we turn a blind eye to them are we loving in deed? This was written in scripture for a reason! We need to ask ourselves and the word is there to keep us in line and we need to apply it!

We are family, let us love each other and help each other as a family would and should.
