What We Believe

  • We believe the Bible is God’s inspired and authoritative Word, true and infallible. (Psalm 119; Matthew 4:4; Luke 24:27)
  • There is only one God, existing eternally as three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7)
  • We believe in Jesus Christ’s deity—His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension to the Father’s right hand, and His future return in power and glory to rule for a thousand years. (John 1:1-4; Ephesians 2:13-18; Revelation 19-20)
  • We hold to the Blessed Hope—the rapture of the Church at Christ’s return. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
  • The only way to be cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:8-9, 13-18)
  • Personal salvation requires regeneration by the Holy Spirit. (John 3:5-8; Titus 3:5)
  • Christ’s redemptive work on the Cross offers healing for our bodies when we pray in faith. (Exodus 15:25-26; James 5:14-15; 1 Peter 2:24)
  • The baptism of the Holy Spirit, as described in Acts 2:4, is a gift available to all believers who ask for it. (Acts 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:1-7)
  • Through the Holy Spirit’s power, we are sanctified and enabled to live a holy life. (Romans 6:3-14; 8:1-2, 11)
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost—one to eternal life and the other to eternal judgment. (Revelation 20:5-6, 11-15)
