Our Friend Named Joe

Joe was a sweet 68 year old man, who we met at our Thrift Store. We have known him for 3 years. Everyday around the same time he'd come in the store and visit us. We had a large screen TV playing Christian music or preaching every day. When Joe would come in, he'd ask if we wouldn't mind playing the song "Redeemed" by Big Daddy Weave. He'd grab a little kids chair and plop it down right in the middle of our "Kid's Corner" and wait for his song to play. I sat in my office in the back of the store I could hear him singing from the front of the store. As I share this story it brings tears to my eyes thinking about it. It's so precious to see someone really sing with their heart. He was saved and had told me over the years, that coming in to sing this song has changed his life. I'm not sure what that meant, but I thank God that we got to be in the crowd watching! Please pray for Joe. Thanks Joe, for encouraging us just by your presence. We are blessed just by knowing you.
