Christians believe in Jesus Christ and surrender their lives to him. God gave us his word to live by and we choose to read it and live it. The Holy Spirit lives inside of us when we repent of our sins and invite Jesus Christ to reign and rule in our hearts. A change happens and everyone around you will see it. There won't be a doubt that you are changed by the power of God.
If you as a believer (Christian) have an issue with someone, pray for them. Pray for those that curse you, it's easy to love those that love you back. What reward is there in loving someone who loves you back? We don't have to hang out or be friends with someone who mistreats us but if we still come in contact with them we are to remain respectful and pray for them.
Luke 6:28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
