You Did What When He Made Fun of You?

As Christians, we ought to live according to the word of God. God loves us and gave us instruction and directions, in all ways of our lives. Last night a neighbourhood kid came up to my son cursed at him and made fun of him. I asked him how he responded and he said "I didn't say anything back." I told him that was good and we had a talk about how to handle situations like this in life. This morning he said "Mom, I took your advice and prayed for him" I said "Awesome, you did good because that's what God tells us to do." When we follow the word and what God tells us to do it's for our own good!" Don't allow hatred, resentment and bitterness in, it's hard to do that when you're praying for the very one that has hurt you. God knows all and loves us, as he does that lost soul. Pray for them. The Lord will handle the rest. 

Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you
